Our overseas friends may not know that the headline news for a lot of us over the weekend was a fire that damaged a raised section of the M1 motorway (autoroute or freeway), which is effectively a bridge, just outside of London and it has been causing travel chaos that may continue for weeks while they repair it.

So yes, the theme is the 'bridge' today, inspired by a recent trip to an Argos home and electronics products store. Argos sell cameras, of course, like the Fujifilm Finepix HS10 30x superzoom camera. Cameras like these are also known as 'bridge' cameras - bridging the gap between a simple compact camera and a DSLR system camera. Someone ought to tell Argos this because all their superzoom cameras were on display in my local Argos store with labels saying: "...with bridge."

Maybe if you buy a superzoom camera, with bridge, from Argos you'll be able to use it to avoid the chaos on the M1!
