My first go at producing an interesting and original photo each day to post onto my blog here. This is a wall just outside my office door. The faint sunlight projected the soft outline of a window onto the wall where the First Aid notices were. I had a Samsung PL80 compact camera on me and on the spur of the moment snapped a couple of shots. Later, I processed the image in Lightroom 3 and converted to mono. I also added some grain and darkened the corners.

#2Ian commentedEditing a commentThanks Stephen. I must admit that I'm not a natural when it comes to 'processing' an image. All through my photographic days I have striven to get it right in the camera and then make modest changes afterwards. But the digital medium lends itself so well to creativity that could well result in an image that looks dramatically different to the original shot :)
