From this week you can find the 'Create by Jason Wu' fashion camera (above) from GE Cameras on sale in the world famous Harrods department store.
On the one hand the camera is typical of the current breed of compact digital cameras, with a modest specification 3x zoom lens, 12 megapixel sensor, and a 2.7 inch LCD screen.
But then there are some rather unusual features; the camera is presented in luxurious leather finish and comes with a matching handbag-style carry case with shoulder strap. While the Create has 4GB of internal memory, enough for over a thousand snaps, there is no provision for additional memory cards. And the camera has an integrated flip-out USB connector with auto-installing, plus and play, picture transfer software. Oh, and that's the way the camera charges itself.
The number of controls on the exterior of the camera is minimal and GE has opted for a small number of context sensitive function buttons instead.
There is no doubt that the camera has a designer look and finish. It sells for $199 in the US and the UK price is 169.
So girls - is this the camera for you?
Meanwhile, you have until the end of this month to enter our prize draw for one of two GE X5 superzoom bridge cameras - don't miss out!

The camera uses scene recognition auto mode for working out the exposure and other image settings.
