Nikon introduce the new COOLPIX L12

Nikon's new CoolPix L12 is a compact and lightweight budget mode, just one up from the L10, which is the cheapest of the new models introduced by Nikon today. The L12 stills get vibration reduction image stabilisation and a 7.1 megapixel resolution despite its lower price point. The L12 takes AA batteries rather than rechargeables - not a bad thing if you worry about proprietary batteries running out miles from where your charger is.
