Er yes...

A small number of people, including you, have 100MB privileges on the gallery and there was a fault in the setup of these accounts.

I have a theory as to why this has happened and applied a fix - if anyone who used to not to be able to see it (about 5 of you in my estimation) can let me know if it has changed, I'd be grateful!

So I was right, there are others and if you are typical Stuart others won't realise its not how it should be.

Same for me. I have to click on "new posts" on the horizontal grey menu to see them. Thought it was set up that way!

Can you ask if they have Javascript enabled?

The same member drew my attention to the problem too. They do have Javascript enabled and the appearance of the portal page is the same (no new posts) whether they have the ads on or off.

They also mentioned they have the ads blocked as the DPN pages are slow to load so they turned off the ads in an attempt to speed things up.

So ad blocking definitely isn't the problem.

PS No ads are showing - so it could be ad-blocking software.

Its come to my attention that a member doesn't see the portal page as I would expect. When they log in, the portal page appears with the preamble but no recent posts show at all. They have tried clearing out all Cookies etc but to no avail. It occurs to me that its quite likely that other members do not see any recent posts on the Portal page http://dpnow.com/forum2/cmps_index.php and simply are not aware that it should.

So do you see recent posts on the Portal page? If not do let us know.
