After the distraction of a failure on our server over the last 36 hours, our planned migration to a brand new server will hopefully take place later today.
We're doing some server consolidation as well as upgrading to a new version of Linux and ancillary tools so this is not a particularly straightforward upgrade. We're still finding little glitches as a consequence of the old server's rebellion the other day, too.
But the main message is that if you find a service interruption today, the chances are that it's planned this time.
