Re: My Image of the Day
Its a popular spot for wedding photos, as you are probably aware, Barr1e.Originally posted by Barr1e View PostI like this very much Garry.
Knowing the area I think you did well and the colours are spot on.
...
It is also popular with the thieves who take the coins from the fountain, when they can.
I have lost count of how many times we have been there.

That's exactly what I was going to write. It reminds me of the little sketch with John Cleese, Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbet.Originally posted by Garry View PostI like that, Barr1e. Comical.
It still makes me laugh. Here is a link.

Cafe Alto
Cafe Alto by Andrew Peter Martin, on Flickr
This very small intimate jazz bar in Amsterdam has been closed for about a year and a half.
It has a great atmosphere and I spent many relaxing late nights here.
I believe it closed due to some financial irregularities by the previous management. I got the good news it had reopened and is now being run by one of the old barmen.
I'll be out there for a few days in about four weeks time, can't wait.Being left handed my brain sometimes works sdrawkcab

Re: My Image of the Day
Thanks. Shame I only had the little 25mm prime on the camera so missed the piano and pianists hands out. Couldn't move back as there were a lot of people behind me.Originally posted by Garry View PostReally like this photo, Andy

I like Masstricht a lot, not seen jazz there though but lots of little bars.
