Needed lifting

Helped with the house cleaning this morning, lunched, looked out of the windows and it was still grey and drab - mmm, shoes on and took a short walk around the block. Greeted with three red kite, several seagulls and the odd robin or two. I have not as yet met up with the local kingfisher with the exception it flew just inches away from me about three weeks ago. All the pix taken were binned due to the grey appearance of them except the one seen below....lifted.
