This morning I took the bus to the next town as I wanted to photograph the heron and egrets I took last week with the wrong camera and lens. 
As I approached the towpath I was stopped by a policeman and told I had to retrace my steps or go the other way. This was due to the body of a female being discovered in the canal. The local newspaper on its website this evening says there were no suspicious circumstances.
Well they say things go in threes.

...all just over one mile apart. (It was a longish walk.)
