Re: 193rd Salon: Performance
Thank you for the accolade. I am delighted . . . Sort of, 'cos now I have to dream up a new Salon!
I enjoyed the images, and delighted that you like mine.
Kind regards,
Kurt

Re: 193rd Salon: Performance
Ok, here we go, soz for the bit of delay...
Special runner-up prize goes to Pat Moore, simply because that 'tache is a performance in itself

Next runner up, Horacio's pic which made me giggle a bit and I like the way that the show doesn't stop for traffic

But my favourite is Kurt's, I like the b&w treatment and the focus on the central player

Next salon for you then Kurt

Re: 193rd Salon: Performance
My oldest grandson (then age 4) made the podium at the NASTAR National Ski Racing Championships at Winter Park Colorado four years ago. He was presented his medal by Olympic Gold Medallist Picabo Street. He was so pumped up on the stage that he was featured in the event's highlight video.

Also at Winter Park. I had just won my age group in Snowboard Racing and took my wife's little point and shoot camera up to the podium to shoot the crowd and the award presentation from Steven Nyman, World Cup winner and Olympian. The certificate announces that I qualified to race in the overall Race of Champions the next day.

This was shot at the exact same instant.
