    Hi Ian, a rather cliched but nevertheless well executed image. I've just put it in PS and turned it round 180, I think I like it better

        The upside down plant puts me off a bit....I think if that was less obvious, it would improve the overall impact! I would also suggest a tighter crop of background to focus attention more on the subject at hand!

          Maybe capturing something more involving than some plain plants in the droplet would have helped. We had another on here where the droplet captured a tulip flower and that was very effective and neat. It could be an interesting take if you captured a face, for example. Actually the possibilities are very wide

            Hi Ian,
            Cliched? well I suppose it is, but then moody or straight portraits and landscapes have been done before millions of times, I personally like this image a lot, the upside down plant reflection makes it different and interesting, exposure and processing look spot on.

              The reflection in the droplet is the actual plant. The plant (an Arum Lily) is developing these droplets on the tips of the leaves.
