'twas quite a steep hill. it was the caerphilly 'mountain' climb, a category 1 hill. they had the pleasure of doing it twice. wiggo is the gold jersey wearer (photo 4) and cav is the last photo. he didn't look like he was enjoying that part of the stage.
Admirable determination and the human spirit! Do wonder about the guy in his jock strap and face mask in photo #6. I suppose he could be described in the same terms under a sub-heading.
