We're continuing our HP B9180 printer testing and bronzing could well be the Achilles heel of the HP B9180.
Results on HP's own recommended glossy papers does show some mild bronzing, worse than Epson UltraChrome K3 printers, though it's probably suppressed enough to live with. But it's pretty poor when printing on fibre glossy surfaces that have become popular recently, like da Vinci Fibre Gloss, for example.
What's interesting is that the larger Z-series DesignJet printers don't appear to suffer from bronzing on fibre gloss papers as much as the B9180. I'm going to investigate this with HP, so watch this space.
