It has been reported that "Samsung to 'out-sell' Canon and Nikon by 2015"
They say "the company is determined to secure the number one spot in the mirror-less micro system camera market by 2012, and to be the best selling camera brand overall by 2015."
While this is their aspirations, and all companies make these statements, the key driver for all of this is technology advances that we have all lived with during the development of Digital Imaging.
As things like Pixel Count & ISO value, level out from the law of diminishing returns, what will be the next "Feature Factor" that the marques will battle over and push as the selling point.
My money is on "connectivity", which I feel may be of some little use to me personally, but for those that want the images "instantly" transfered, the race for the fastest upload seems to be on...
