Firstly, the components of the lens;
- what the lens hood is for;
- different shapes lens hoods for different types of lenses.
- the focusing and zoom rings.
- when to use manual focusing ring and when not to.
- Filter sizes and types of filters.

I, now, know what all the numbers are for!

Next we covered the different types of lenses;

- Converters

Looking at when is the best time to use each of the lens and whether an amateur needs to buy all the separate lenses.

Lastly, a short revision of lens speeds, perspectives, depth of field, and vignetting.
